Beaconsfield Literary Festival!

Had a great time at this new festival on Saturday, 14th, September!

Though I did wonder if a bolt of lightning might get me for crossing the threshold of a church, to talk about murder... especially when we invaded the pulpit.

Fellow panelists Joanna Wallace (You'd Look Better as a Ghost), Tina Baker (Call Me Mummy) and Hamish Morjaria (The Curse of the Muziris, coming soon) were so much fun! Sometimes a panel just clicks, helped along by able chair, Paul Waters (Blackwater Town). In top photo from left to right: Paul, Joanna, Tina, me, and Hamish. And yes, I am wearing an actual dress! It happens rarely but I LOVE my new boots so may be more frequent now.

Also thanks to Geoff Gudgion (Hammer of Fate), the organiser of this new festival, and able interviewer of Frederick Forsyth. Thanks to Joanna Wallace & her other half for the photos.
